The Hidden Beauty of Korea  Captured by Five Artists from Abroad 1920s-1950s

2013 0620-0831  BeautyofKorea iconThe exhibition features the etchings and woodblock prints produced by five artists from abroad: Kawase Hasui (1883–1957, Japan), Paul Jacoulet (1896–1960, France), Elizabeth Keith (1887–1956, Scotland), Lilian May Miller (1895–1943, America) and Willy Seiler (1903–Unknown, Germany) at the turn of twentieth century. The exhibit presents the redefining of the beauty of Korea through people, things, and scenes that charmed artists from different cultures.
