Enjoy a gastronomically and intellectually sumptuous evening as food journalist and author of the new cookbook Korean Cuisine Yongja Kim shares some of her favorite recipes at a discussion and tasting. Kim will explain the bold, unique flavors of classic Korean cuisine, its health benefits, and how it found its way from the tables of Korea to the menus of some of the hottest restaurants around the world. About the Author Yongja Kim, author of the new cookbook Korean Cuisine, has been a food journalist and cooking instructor in the New York area since 1993. The host of several cable food shows, Kim has published two gastronomic guides in Korea: Food of the West and Journey for Taste. Throughout her writing and media appearances, Kim has devoted herself to bringing Korean flavors and cooking techniques to the U.S. and Europe.
