| Special Members-Only Screening: Into the Fire |
 Join the Korea Society for a members-only New York premiere of the Korean blockbuster Into the Fire. All members are entitled to 2 tickets for this special screening to be held at AMC Empire 25, in Times Square, on Tuesday July 27th at 6:00 PM. The film is based on the true story of 71 South Korean student-soldiers who defended an important supply line against much better equipped and professionally trained North Korean troops in the early days of the Korean War. Into the Fire has already generated much talk as a possible contender for the Best Foreign Film Academy Award, and will soon be released in 14 American cities. The U.S. release also pays tribute to the 60th anniversary of the outbreak of the Korean War.
