About the Artist
Born in South Korea, Park Jihyun received two MFA degrees from the School of Visual Arts in New York and Hong-Ik University in Korea. Park’s work has been exhibited both U.S and Korea including the Queens Museum of Art, Asian Art Initiative, Art in General, and the Islip Art Museum and Gana Art Gallery. He received a fellowship from the New York Foundation for the Arts, the Aljira Emerge 2003 Fellowship from the Professional Development Fellowship Program for Emerging Artists, and the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture. Park lives and works in Seoul.
