Master embroiderer, renowned textile scholar, historian, and author Young-Yang Chung has lectured worldwide on East Asian embroideries. She is the author of Silken Threads: A History of Embroidery in China, Korea, Japan, and Vietnam (Harry N. Abrams, 2005) and Painting With A Needle: Learning The Art Of Silk Embroidery With Young Yang Chung (Harry N. Abrams, 2003).
