She is the founder of Eats Meets West, a successful catering firm. Working at the Boston Children's Museum since 1992, Samuels developed the museum's popular Kids Are Cooking series and in 2003 produced The Power of Eating Right, a nutrition and cooking guide for teens. Her articles appear regularly in The Boston Globe as well as in numerous Japanese magazines and journals.
TaeKyung Chung is a Tokyo-based cooking teacher, food consultant and co-author of The Korean Table. She has been teaching Korean cooking for 20 years and is well-known in Japan for her innovative and health-focused approach to Korean cuisine. Chung has published two cookbooks in Japanese and is a frequent contributor to newspapers and magazines. Chung has also worked giving public presentations on kimchi for the Korea Agro-Fisheries Trade Corporation and Korea Tourism Organization.
