This has somehow escaped my radar but since I’m visiting very soon: an original film initiative took place last month in Paris. The Korean Cultural Centre in Paris celebrated actress/film director Bang Eun-Jin with six film screenings including 301/302 by Park Chul-Soo, Address Unknown by Kim Ki-Duk (two of my favorite Korean films of all time) Bang Eun-Jin’s first feature film, the often underestimated Princess Aurora (somewhat outshined by Sympathy for Lady Vengeance), and a short, Puff the Rice, from September 24 to 28.

Bang Eun-Jin, who attended the screenings and discussed her work with Parisian audiences, was a guest for the “Week of Foreign Cultures in Paris 2007”.
