In the spirit of cultivating culturally sensitive leaders of tomorrow, The Korea Society select sixteen public high school students or Youth Ambassadors from New York City and Los Angeles to participate in Project Bridge. During the academic year-long program, students cultivate their understanding of race relations, leadership skills, and Korean society and culture through engaging bi-weekly workshops. The project culminates in a 10 day study tour in Korea and one community presentation. During the study tour, students are able to interact with top Korean government and business officials, sharpening their interpersonal skills and developing international etiquette. The Youth Ambassadors graduate from the program not only with a new network but with a deeper sense of the layers of diversity around them.

Project Bridge is administered in conjunction with the Pacific Century Institute in Los Angeles, CA and funded in part by the Korea Foundation.
