The tuition is $375 for members of The Korea Society and $400 for nonmembers. Tuition discounts are available to members of The Korea Society. For nonmembers, a one year membership is included in the cost of tuition. In order to guarantee a spot, the tuition must be paid in full prior to the first class meeting.

Registration for Summer Session 2008 is now open. There will be a $40 service charge for all cancellations of enrollment. No refunds or cancellations will be made after the second day of class.

Note: The Korea Society reserves the right to cancel any course if sufficient enrollment is not obtained. In such cases, students already enrolled will receive full refunds.

Textbooks

One textbook is required for each level. The cost is not covered by the tuition for the class. All books are available through The Korea Society for $30. It is suggested that students pre-order a copy at the time of registration.

We have adopted new textbooks for all of our classes. Beginning with the Fall 2007 semester, we will be using only the Korean language textbooks published by the Language Education Institute at Seoul National University. The following are the required textbooks for each class level:

Introductory 1 & 2: 한국어 1 (Korean Language 1)
Intermediate 1 & 2: 한국어 2 (Korean Language 2)
Advanced 1 & 2: 한국어 3 (Korean Language 3)
