Chaos Theory Music artist Kang Eun-il's Haegum Plus will be kicking off their 'Remembering the Future' East coast tour this Thursday, April 24th at New York's Queens Theater in the Park.
Kang Eun-il is among the elite group of musicians out of Korea that are making music history with their boundary-crossing musical innovations in a genre that is increasingly known as "new traditional" music. Haegum Plus' lyrical and accessible sounds have enabled the group to cross over from the niche traditional music market into the Korean mainstream.
Kang Eun-il and her group Haegum Plus play beautifully mesmerizing music that seamlessly weave between the old and new, East and West. They have released 2 CDs thus far in Korea and in Europe, "Ancient Futures" and "Remembering the Future", both of which are soon to be distributed in the U.S. through Chaos Theory Music.
Haegum Plus kicks off the 5-city tour on the east coast this Thursday at the Asian Cultural Festival hosted by Queens Theater in the Park in Flushing, New York.
