William R. Rhodes Named Global Advisor to South Korea President Lee Myung-bak

2009_12_01_rhodes_pres_leeWilliam R. Rhodes, senior vice chairman, Citigroup, senior vice chairman, Citibank, and member of The Korea Society's board of directors, has been named Global Advisor to Republic of Korea president Lee Myung-bak.

Rhodes joins Microsoft Chairman Bill Gates and World Economic Forum founder Klaus Schwab on an advisory group tasked with offering advice for future visions and strategies for Korea. After accepting the Global Advisor group plaque on October 16, Rhodes discussed the global economy, trade flows, and the pending KORUS free-trade agreement with President Lee.
