2012 09 14  us-election-korea icon2How do U.S.-Korea relations figure in the presidential campaigns? What role will concerns about North Korea play in the U.S. elections and candidate positions? Michael Schiffer, Senior Advisor for the Senate Foreign Relations Committee Staff, addresses the current state of play and approaches on Korea.

Schiffer is the former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for East Asia in the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Asian and Pacific Affairs. Previously he served as foreign policy advisor and legislative director for Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-CA).
