Chairman’s Special Event with Ambassador Han Duk-Soo

A group of American business leaders, Asia experts, and members of The Korea Society's board of directors met with Republic of Korea Ambassador Han Duk-Soo in New York to discuss key issues in the U.S.-ROK relationship prior to President Obama’s first official visit to Korea. Hosted by The Korea Society's chairman, Ambassador Thomas C. Hubbard, the group exchanged views with Ambassador Han on a range of issues, including the prospects for ratification of the Korea-U.S. Free Trade Agreement (KORUS), and also discussed ways to strengthen ties between the two countries.
