The Korea Society has hosted a range of activities surrounding the sixtieth anniversary of the Korean War, from a dinner featuring Generals Colin Powell and Paik Sun-yup, as well as UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, to a conference with Columbia University on The Korean War Today to literary (Redroom, The Martyred) and other salutes.

Join The Korea Society for a special radio-days end-of-war commemoration on July 23 saluting veterans.

On July 18, photographer Mark Edward Harris shares images from North and South Korea.

In May and June, The Korea Society hosted the Chairman of the 60th Anniversary CommemorationCommittee General (Ret.) Walter “Skip” Sharp for a discussion.

The Korea Society also hosted an education workshop on the Korean War for teachers.

In an on-line salute, Pacific Forum CSIS President Ralph Cossa, Former Vice Foreign Minister and Korea University Professor of International Relations Kim Sung-Han and Former Director of Policy Planning and The Sejong Institute Director of Security Studies Lee Sang-Hyun honor the alliance at 60.
