2014 10 15 korean-cool iconAuthor Euny Hong discusses, with The Wall Street Journal Online’s columnist Jeffrey Yang, her  first nonfiction book, The Birth of Korean Cool, which mixes stories from her childhood in Korea with in-depth reporting and exclusive interviews with government officials and cultural icons. The result is an entertaining look at how South Korea made an unprecedented leap into the 21st century to become a global leader in business, technology, education, and pop culture. The book will be available for sale and a reception and book signing will follow.
