Korean stock-market specialist and fund-manager Henry Seggerman sees Korean adoption of two technologies—touchscreens and "cloud computing"—as portentous of a seismic shift in how people will use computers around the world, as well as an opportunity for Korean companies to become a driving force in their growth. Already, Apple Computer's iPad and acquisition of Lala.com are telling evidence of the global technology industry's recognition of the transformative power of touch interfaces and "the cloud."
