The New York Korean Financial Forum was held on February 26, 2026 at The Korea Society, in partnership with Korea Investment Corporation (KIC) and the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in New York, to discuss the evolving private equity landscape in early 2026.

Victor Wu, Partner and Co-chair at the Secondary Investment Committee at Lexington Partners, presented how moderating inflation, ongoing geopolitical uncertainty, and slower traditional exit channels expand the role of secondary markets as an important mechanism for liquidity and portfolio flexibility.

The program brought together around 40 Korean and Korean-American finance professionals and concluded with a networking lunch, offering participants an opportunity to exchange perspectives and strengthen connections across New York’s financial community.
