The New York Korean Financial Forum was held on March 26, 2026 at The Korea Society, in partnership with Korea Investment Corporation (KIC) and the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in New York, to discuss the outlook for U.S. stock markets in 2026.

The forum featured a keynote presentation by Ohsung Kwon, Chief Equity Strategist at Wells Fargo Securities, who presented a positive outlook for U.S. equities with an S&P 500 year-end target of 7,800, driven by a reflation cycle, larger tax refunds, and a potential liquidity buy signal. He also highlighted two opposing macro forces shaping the market — currency devaluation and AI-driven productivity — and their implications for investors.

The program brought together around 40 Korean and Korean-American finance professionals and concluded with a networking lunch, offering participants an opportunity to exchange perspectives and strengthen connections across New York's financial community.
