Local Leadership in a Global Context

The Korea Society is excited to introduce a new subseries, 'Local Leadership in a Global Context,' as part of our 'Leadership Interview Series.' This subseries will feature municipal, provincial and state-level leaders in Korea and the U.S., and will explore the importance that local leadership plays in national policies and international relations. Moderated by Ambassador Kathleen Stephens, Korea Society Board Chair, or Tom Byrne, President and CEO, the scope of the program will also cover economic and social policies of particular interest to local leaders and their constituencies, as well as the importance of ROK-US trade, investment and technological relations and partnerships to the prosperity of Korea and the U.S.

Join us in exploring the fascinating and often under-appreciated dynamics at the regional and local levels that will shape the future of the U.S.-Korea relationship.
