In a column for Bloomberg View, Korea Society President Tom Byrne contends that, especially at this critical juncture, there is every reason to find agreement on two upcoming negotiations between the US and Korea: the Korea-US free trade deal and the alliance military cost sharing agreement. South Korea has shown itself to be a reliable partner, both economically and militarily, and the alliance is a win-win relationship that supports the interests and values of both partners.
