Beginning Korean Trial Workshop

  • No prior knowledge of Korean is required to participate in these trial workshops.
  • Class materials and recordings will be provided.

Are you curious about our Fall Korean Language Program? Join us for a Beginning Korean Trial Workshop and get a taste of what our classes are like before the new term begins!

This workshop covers a brief history of Hangeul, the principles behind the creation of Korean consonants and vowels, and basic consonant-vowel combinations, along with practical greetings and expressions you can use in everyday situations such as dining and shopping. You’ll also learn Korean food names and expressions featured in K-Pop Demon Hunters! Class recordings will be provided after each session to help students review the course material. Recordings will primarily include the instructor’s voice, students’ voices when applicable, and screen sharing. Video feeds will not be included. Each recording will focus on key instructional content rather than the full class session.

Following each session, we will provide a brief overview of our Korean Language Program and Fall term courses.
