About the Speaker:

Zichen Wang is the Founder and Editor of the *Pekingnology* newsletter. Born and raised in China, he earned his bachelor’s degree from Shandong Economic University (now Shandong University of Finance and Economics) in July 2011. Zichen then went on to work for Xinhua News Agency for over 11 years, including a 29-month stint in Brussels where he covered the European Union. In October 2022, he left Xinhua to join the Center for China and Globalization (CCG), a leading non-government think tank in Beijing, where he currently serves as a Research Fellow and Director for International Communications.

Zichen is currently pursuing a mid-career Master in Public Policy (MPP) at the School of Public and International Affairs (SPIA) at Princeton University, fully funded by a SPIA fellowship.
